The location is handy for trips to Titra Gangga and Heavens Gate. The villa/bungalow was clean and in generally good condition, though a little dated. There’s a large pool with free towels, and the spa treatment was great. The restaurant food was fresh and tasty. Grab taxis can be hard to get, but the staff will arrange a taxi or transfer. They were polite and helpful in every situation, and the manager was professional, friendly, and hands-on.

We’ve stayed here three times as a family and have been happy with everything each time. The room is cozy, the views are outstanding, and the service comes with big smiles. Whenever we travel to KarangAsem, this will always feel like a second home for us. 🤗

The room had a mini pantry, a big bathroom, a TV, and sofas tucked in the corner. Breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade pineapple jam with the American breakfast. Outside, there’s a green yard with Mt. Agung in front and the ocean behind. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Even after the pandemic wave, everything, including the room, was well maintained. It was a good stay 👍

Surgawi means heaven in Indonesian, and it felt quiet, peaceful, and relaxing here. The room rate felt fair for the place and service. I’d recommend it to local and foreign tourists who want to spend time in eastern Bali.
