Respati Beach Hotel Sanur

We liked the feel of the place and were impressed with the facilities. Our room was clean and spacious, and the staff were friendly and pleasant. Respati Beach Hotel worked well for us because it was affordable and close to the beach and Icon shopping mall. There are lots of places to eat nearby, and the Sanur night markets are within walking distance if that interests you. Breakfast was adequate, with a bit of variety from one morning to the next. Cappuccino and latte cost extra and aren’t part of the breakfast package. We’d definitely stay at Respati again if we return to Sanur.

This is a good spot for families, kids, anyone done with partying, or people looking for quiet time to read, relax, or daydream. You can spend 3-5 days enjoying the beach in front, lounging by the pool, and staying in Sanur. The mall is a two-minute walk away, and morning strolls, cycling on the beach’s proper bike and pedestrian path, jet skiing, canoeing, and sailing are all easy options. Sanur’s beach is very calm, with gentle waves for soaking or floating, and sunrise views each morning. The gardens feel soothing, and walking in or out of the room is pleasant. Nothing feels flashy or gimmicky, and the friendly staff add to the homelike mood. Breakfast is relaxing too. Denpasar is about 15 minutes away, Petitenget 45 minutes, and the airport 45 minutes. That distance works well if comfort matters more to you than crowds.

After a month of hectic travel in Germany and Italy, arriving at our clean, comfortable room at Hotel Respati felt very welcoming after the long flight from Italy. Getting there from Denpasar airport was easy and cost 250,000 rupiah. Remember to ask the driver for the price and negotiate before hiring. Tucked away in Sanur, the rooms and suites sit between reception and the beach. The restaurant staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome at any time of day. Each morning there was a fresh, tasty buffet with enough food and drinks to suit different tastes. Guests who prefer not to swim in the pool can use the private beach area, with umbrellas and loungers. The beach is clean, and when the tide is in, the water is nice for swimming or floating. Icon Bali Shopping Mall is a couple of minutes away on foot, handy for a snack or meal. Farther out, there are the usual shops, stalls, bars, and salons.

The resort’s restaurant served wonderful food, with live music and a pleasant place to sit by the beach. Everyone on staff was excellent and helpful, and looked after us with real warmth from check-in through checkout. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had an absolutely amazing stay and will definitely return 🙏🏻
