The Alena Ubud Resort A Pramana Experience

Gusti, our driver and guide, was a highlight of the trip. He was cheerful and genuine, shared lots of interesting Bali stories, and had a great sense of humor. We enjoyed every moment with him and would recommend asking for Gusti for airport transport or a guided tour around Bali. The resort and rooms are beautiful and luxurious, with a real jungle feel while still having everything needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay. The staff were kind, welcoming, and attentive, and made us feel cared for throughout. Alena Resort is a special place, and we'd love to come back one day.

Dewa, the manager, and the capable team took great care of us. They offer curated activities on different days of the week, and the shuttle into town made getting around easy. We also enjoyed the spa. We spent three days in the luxury pool villa at Alena Pramana Resort. The well-kept boutique five-star property felt like a peaceful oasis for quiet time, about 15-20 mins from central Ubud. We had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this lovely resort.

My partner has a severe nut allergy, and the team triple checked every meal to keep him safe. They also made restaurant reservations and arranged day trips, passing on his allergy details to each venue. The food menu had lots of choice, and breakfast was generous and tasty every day. We felt at home from arrival and were looked after by every staff member. Everyone knew us by name and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. The resort is beautiful, with traditional balinese-style rooms and two lovely pools. Room service was always available, and staff were easy to reach through WhatsApp or the hotel phone. We loved the spa treatments so much we went a second time. Can't recommend Alena Resort enough. We're sad to leave and can't wait to return!

Set away from the city buzz, the resort has a peaceful, forested feel, and it's self-sufficient enough that I didn't need to leave unless I wanted to. The staff were warm, smiling, and hospitable, and made us feel at home. The food surprised me with every dish. Breakfast had plenty of nourishing choices to keep me going until the next meal, and the team checked for food allergies every time. We'd definitely come back for another getaway or retreat.
