The Purist Villas Ubud

We were very happy with both villas during our four days and three nights last week, even though we had to change rooms because of a small issue in the first one. The second villa was very spacious, with the biggest pool in the complex and a separate building beside it, facing our open-plan lounge. It was so quiet and relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful the whole time. Thank you so much.

That hot stone massage at Purist Spa still stands out as the most relaxing one I've ever had. I hadn't been back in more than 10 years, but the peaceful setting, skilled masseuse, and welcoming, attentive staff made it just as special as I remembered. I’m really glad I returned, and hope to visit more often.

The team at Purist Villas and Spa really made our stay memorable. Everyone was thoughtful and helpful with our requests. Our room was clean and well cared for, and the property is tucked off a small street with easy access to Central Ubud Market and other places. It was easy to call a Grab, too. We liked the pool beside the restaurant, with all the greenery around it, and the food was excellent. The menu is limited to vegetarian and seafood dishes, though, so anyone with a seafood allergy may find the options tricky. A few more choices would help. We didn't try the spa, but there are lots of treatments, and based on the rest of our experience, I’d expect them to be good.

If you’re after a proper break somewhere quiet and tucked away, this place is a lovely choice. The rooms are hard to beat, the restaurant was fantastic, and the staff have a happy, welcoming manner. This was our first trip to Bali, and it’s still the best place we’ve stayed there by far. I thoroughly recommend the Purist Villas for a peaceful stay.
