The Tamarind Resort Nusa Lembongan

We were so happy here and hated to leave. My wife and I had a lovely stay at the Tamerind resort, and Wira gave us a room with such an amazing view we felt like we were in a presidential suite 😊. There are three pools and plenty of loungers, plus a large gym with Life fitness equipment. Harry and Ade served an awesome breakfast, and we had some of the best coffee we’ve ever had in Bali, made with fresh proper milk. Putu also makes great cocktails. The customer service was second to none, with everyone making a real effort to learn and use our names. We’ll be back 😊.

We arrived early, before our room was ready, and they stored our belongings and took us on an excursion while we waited. When we came back, there was a special welcome message in the room, and nightly turndown service was included. This was the best resort of our whole Bali trip: outstanding service, delicious food, and immaculate rooms. They arranged all our outings, including Nusa Penida and snorkeling, and we settled the cost as one lump sum at the end. Private transfers were organized for the excursions, along with private ferry pick-up and drop-off. Agus was a great driver. The food was so fresh, and we had the best Nasi Goreng of the trip. Thanks, Puthu! Arya was lovely and accommodating. When we needed medicine from the store, he picked it up and brought it to the resort. He always had a smile, and he’s the heart and soul of the hotel.

The Tamarind was a great place to stay, and after four days exploring Nusa Lembongan I really think it’s the best hotel on the island. The pools and food were great, and the staff were friendly and looked after us well. It could use a little TLC, though. There were a few loose tiles, the floors in the shared areas needed scrubbing, and some paintwork needed attention. Nothing that couldn’t be done in a week. We had a great time.

From the pool, the views of Mount Agung and the mainland are breathtaking. The resort is conveniently located, with major restaurants easy to reach on foot. The staff were exceptionally nice and attentive, and I’d definitely stay again.
