Villa Sasoon Bali

My wife and I have never stayed in a better villa. The grounds are lovely and well cared for, the location is great, and the staff and management are caring. We stayed three nights in 2024 and have booked again for February 26, this time for five nights.

The staff felt like our Balinese family. During our eight days, they were kind, quick to anticipate what we needed, and went beyond what we expected. One evening after we dined in, they came back later to clean the kitchen and dishes. Villa Sasoon is roomy and has most everyday things you need. It was easy to cook or order food in, and the pool and sun deck were a welcome place to relax after touring Bali. Shops, food, and convenience stores are a short walk away on the main road, with a few more places right in front that deliver to the villa. Virgin Beach, Goa Lawar Temple, and Lotus Lagoon are also close by. Ibu Made and the crew gave us a warm Balinese welcome. Thanks to Diki for arranging all our land tours and scuba diving trip.

The owners were warm and welcoming, and their customer-first approach made me feel at home. The price was very reasonable for the comfort and luxury, and I felt safe and relaxed throughout the trip. The outdoor shower was a fun, distinctive part of the stay. Villa Sassoon in Candidasa was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The staff were fantastic, always friendly and ready to help. Shops, local places to eat, the nearby beach, and Vincent are all within walking distance. It’s a great location for enjoying both Bali’s lively side and its quieter side. I’m already planning to come back and would stay here again.

We loved every minute at Villa Saloon and would highly recommend it. It has four individual villas, each able to sleep 4-5 people comfortably, so it can work for a larger group too. Our villa had two ensuite bedrooms and a huge living room, with a traditional Balinese design and modern amenities. The yard and pool were beautifully kept, and a dip in the pool was welcome in the heat. We woke to birdsong and breakfast cooked fresh each morning. The staff were so attentive, anticipating what we needed and making us feel looked after wherever we went. The location is away from Denpasar's tourist crowds, but the beach, scuba diving, and jungle are easy to reach. Restaurants and cafes are walkable, and the staff can arrange transport and tours.
