Breakfast was one of the best parts, with plenty of dishes and lots of local specialties. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and the laundry service was excellent. The team also made a strong impression: everyone was friendly and helpful, especially Fitria, who consistently looked after everyone. I stayed at Four Points Balikpapan on a business trip, and it was better equipped than other regional hotels I've visited. The pool was closed because its water had turned green during cleaning, which wasn't the hotel's fault. In the bathroom, the sink faucet sometimes sprays at an odd angle and splashes water. Overall, I had a great stay and would recommend it to business travelers.

I was there for a half-day New Year's Eve meeting with my company team, not an overnight stay. The meeting room was okay, but the service needs improvement. There was a wide variety of food, and it was quite tasty. The location was quiet, though a little far from Balikpapan city center.

I had a wonderful stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Balikpapan. My room was clean and spacious, and the location was great. The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly at check-in. I'll definitely come back.

The early morning call to prayer from a nearby mosque was the main problem for me. It started at 4:30 am and continued until 6:00 am, making it hard to get the rest I need on a business trip. Apart from that noise, the stay would have been perfect, but it was enough to make me unlikely to return, so I'm giving the hotel 2 stars. The hotel itself is in a quiet area near the airport, with no amenities or convenience stores nearby. A taxi takes about five minutes and costs around 35,000 rupiah, and complimentary airport shuttle service starts at 7 am. The staff were excellent: they sent a confirmation message on arrival day and arranged a smooth pickup. Everyone, from the driver to the front desk staff and security, greeted me warmly. The room was basic but had what I needed to rest and freshen up for work.
