Oyo 1477 Athar 88 Hotel

All we wanted was clear communication. The staff didn't tell us that breakfast wouldn't be available, even though it was included, because their so-called restaurant was rundown and closed. We'd upgraded the room after heavy rain, and went there for breakfast the next morning. The standard basement room was wet and mouldy, with a strong mould smell, stained sheets, and a hole in the roof. The listing mentioned that it was in the basement, but gave no details about those conditions. We were a couple who travel around the world and stay in standard hotels. We can afford to pay; we choose value because we focus on exploring places. At the front desk on 26/02/2023, two women gave sarcastic smiles, apparently because they saw "bule" staying at a lousy hotel and complaining. We only needed to leave our bags, not enjoy the room. We don't need an apology.
