The room was spacious and opened straight onto the beach, but at 1.9 million a night I can't recommend this hotel. The room was dirty when we arrived: wet floors that smelled of mop water, sand and leftover trash in the bathroom, and a dirty mirror. The sliding door was broken and wouldn't lock, so I had to call reception to get someone to fix it. The hot water tank was leaking too. The food fell short, with little variety, uncovered dishes, and flies around. Would I suggest this place to family? No. For that price, I'd stay at another city hotel and visit the beach afterward.

The balcony table and chairs could use a proper clean. They were dusty and sandy, and there were several geckos. Also, the resort has just two floors and no elevator, so with elderly parents I'd ask for a ground-floor room. We had a slight issue in the room, but the staff sorted it out quickly. We waited almost an hour for our key despite checking in at 2:30 PM. Kemala Beach Resort has a private beach, and both sunrise and sunset were beautiful 😍. It was a fun staycation, and we'll definitely come again. Thank you. May Allah bless us with more good fortune, good health, and long life.
