Ayani Hotel Banda Aceh

My wife, our friends, and I spent one nite here. The staff were welcoming and very helpful, and everything was super clean. We had good TV channels, strong water pressure, and very good AC. Breakfast and lunch were both good, and I complimented the chef that day. They even provide a luggage weighing machine in the lobby. Strongly recommended.

The breakfast buffet had plenty to choose from, including options for western tourists, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is modern, clean, and well located in the city. Our room was spotless, with a very good bed and pillows, working air conditioning, and a bathroom where everything was in order. Make sure to book a room with an outside view, since some rooms may not have one. Very good value for the price. It deserves 4 stars rather than 3.

The breakfast buffet was my favorite, with local dishes alongside western favorites. My mother and I felt safe and comfortable here, and it was a great stay for my family. The staff were kind, knew the local area well, and most spoke decent English. Rooms have air conditioning, which mattered most in the heat, and clean bathrooms. Just know the standard room has no window. There’s a small convenience store with an ATM a quick tip down the road, which helped us as foreign travelers. This would be my first choice when I return to Banda Aceh.

The AC is wonderfully cool, which you really need in this hot weather. The hotel is clean and pleasant, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Food is nice, and the location is handy, close to food stalls and souvenir shops. I’d gladly come back.
