Hilani Boutique Hotel

Breakfast was very basic, with no milk, butter, or cereal, and nobody checking whether food had been replenished. The doughnuts were stale, and some dining room chairs were broken. In the shower, hot water ran out or had hardly any pressure. There’s no restaurant for evening meals, and the walls seem to let through every sound, even the receptionist’s phone and people walking around. The power kept cutting out too. Our room had cockroaches and wasn’t properly serviced. They left the cups dirty and didn’t replace the water bottles, and we had no hand towels or toilet paper. Staff seemed more interested in their phones, and when we complained about having to drag our bags up the front stairs because motorbikes blocked the ramp, the receptionist laughed at us. The hospitality was poor. This place shouldn’t be called a boutique hotel, it felt more like a backpackers. Save your money and stay somewhere else, like Ayani or Kryad.

We spent eight nights here with our little family. The room and service were great, and we loved the hotel. There’s no elevator yet, but it’s in progress. We’ll definitely come back.

The rooms were great and the service polite. The only drawback is that it’s far from downtown. Still, this is just a great hotel.
