Hotel Rasamala

The seminar room was good, breakfast was good, and the location was handy, with a musolla, mall and street food nearby. The lobby and Rumah Cafe also look really nice. But the rooms were a letdown, and that was where we spent our stay. My coursemate and I checked in twice, first for one night, then went to Sabang for a night and came back to the same room, 121, for another two nights. Both times the room smelled bad, and the floor and toilet were filthy. On the second check-in they took out the rubbish and changed the towel, but the toilet still hadn’t been scrubbed. The sink and toilet bowl looked spotless, yet the walls, corners and doors were dirty. It was disgusting. If I’d brought my daughter, she wouldn’t have wanted to go in or use the toilet. I hope the next group doesn’t have the same problem. There was no hairdryer or iron. The hotel musolla was dirty and had no aircon, which made it unpleasant to pray there. We had 35 course participants. The lobby felt welcoming, but once we got to the rooms, we were disappointed.

I couldn’t sleep because the neighboring room’s AC was so loud and the windows were so thin. There were stains on my sheets, too. As someone mentioned before, room 219 has no switch for one of its lights, which is ridiculous. For what I paid, it really wasn’t worth it, and I’ll ask for compensation.

Sort out the water pressure on the fourth floor. I bet every room up there has the same problem‼️‼️‼️

The staff were helpful, and the room was nice, though there was a small paint issue and a few minor stains on the bed. I slept well, and the toilet in the lobby smelled like cigar. I paid 600k, but the room looked quite different from the pictures, so I don’t think it was worth that price. I accidentally booked two rooms instead of one, and they wouldn’t refund me. Still, I’ll give it four stars, though I wouldn’t really recommend it. There are much better hotels in Aceh.
