We loved the shared spaces at Mulia, especially the big kitchen, living room, balcony, and rooftop, where guests can relax and use the amenities. The coffee machine and free coffee were a lovely way to start the day. The room was comfortable and clean, just right for our three nights, and we could walk to the main street in under ten minutes. Andreas, Lynn, and their team made us feel at home. Andreas was especially helpful and knowledgeable about getting around, travel arrangements, and local places to eat. Mulia was the highlight of our time in Banda Aceh.

We’ve tried other places, but keep coming back to Mulia Homestay. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and the rooms are clean and adequate.

We liked it enough to extend our stay to five days. The host was very nice and helpful, and there’s good parking in the yard. The city center is close, with food stalls within walking distance. The shower, WiFi, and air conditioning all worked very well.

The rooms were good, and there’s a pleasant shared kitchen. Plenty of restaurants are an easy walk away, too. The people running the place were super friendly. We arrived in ache and felt right at home; they helped us with a few things, and we had some nice conversations.
