Alqueby Hotel Bandung

We checked in around 11-ish PM just to sleep before continuing our trip. The hotel was affordable, the staff were friendly, and it has its own coffee shop. Our room could’ve been cleaner, and the bathroom floor was a bit slippery, though we didn’t think much of it for a transit stay. The bigger problem came in the morning. When we were about to check out, the water turned really dirty and then ran out completely. Some of my family hadn’t showered yet and couldn’t. This started around 8.30AM and wasn’t fixed by the time we left at 11AM. The staff carried buckets of water up to the 4th floor to help, which we appreciated, but management needs to do better.

I chose this hotel because it’s the closest one to my office in Cisaranten endah. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and I enjoyed staying there. There’s a café in front where you can hang out, too. Getting there can be rough, though. Traffic gets heavy when people try to turn right to reach the hotel. Parking is limited, so you need to confirm your vehicle with reception. When the lot fills up, cars have to move, and getting out can be really hard if yours is parked deep inside. It’s a good hotel, even with the traffic problems.

For a budget hotel at a low price, the place is fine. The staff were polite and seemed to take their service seriously. The hotel itself is nice, though the soap in the bathroom couldn’t be used.

It’s neat and clean, and best of all, there’s no smoking. But the plumbing needs attention because it makes a lot of noise. The hot water stopped while I was showering, too. We asked to borrow a hair dryer and there wasn’t one available. It’s a small, inexpensive thing that would make the stay more convenient, so they should provide one.
