The friendly, helpful staff added to a pleasant stay, and the hotel gives good value for the money. Its rates are competitive with other hotels in the same star category nearby, while still covering the basics for comfort and service. The classic rooms feel a little dated, but they're comfortable enough. Their old-school style has a nostalgic charm that some people may like. The facilities aren't as extensive as at newer hotels, though the essentials are there, making it a practical pick for a short business trip or weekend away.

The best parts were being able to smoke in the room and the beautiful, clean pool. The executive room itself had old facilities and amenities. The shower leaked, black ants were getting onto the bed, and the kettle leaked and smelled of plastic because it was so old. I was told the hotel is 20 years old. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend it for families.

The location is convenient, and for what I paid, the stay was OK. It's the typical 90's style hotel, so anyone looking for a modern atmosphere would be better off elsewhere. The pool has a nice natural feel. A couple of things for management: the bathroom drain smell could use some attention, maybe with perfume, and breakfast needs improvement. I found the vegetables overcooked and drained of colour, so fresher food would be better.

The pool was great, and so was the location, but the overall service and stay were below par for a 3 star hotel. We were put in an annex, across a busy road from the main building. The hot water was barely warm, lukewarm at best. Breakfast was disappointing too. The food didn't taste great, and all the main dishes were spicy. The porridge wasn't replenished after 8.45am, even though breakfast was still going.

Being near the local market and lots of shops made the location a real plus, and breakfast was good too. The room smelled, though, and there wasn't any soap. It felt worth the price, so I hope the smell was just an issue with that room.
