Riverside Homestay by WeStay

A good place to stay.

Each room has its own clothesline, which made laundry easy. The rooms are roomy enough for a kitchen and family, though there’s no water heater and the place feels pretty far out. 😹

The room itself was pleasant and smelled good, and I liked how it was kept. The bathroom was pretty standard, but the drain wasn’t clogged, the water ran well, and it was clean. I couldn’t tell when the water jug had been opened, though. Maybe it could be resealed or dated, and there weren’t any glasses. The noise was the main letdown. It seemed to come from other guests staying up until the dawn call to prayer, rather than from the surroundings. It was still break time, so please keep it down if you’re up late. Not everyone wants to stay awake. I was disappointed, even though I did feel safe, since people were indirectly watching the parking lot.

We paid 450,000 Rupiah for one night and came away very disappointed. The bathroom was awful, there was a pile of trash near the room, and neither mineral water nor toiletries were provided. The hotel staff also seemed unprofessional. Basically, the whole stay was a letdown.
