Sans Hotel RG Living Jogja by RedDoorz

For a few days, the place is nice and the room is spacious and practical. I’d think twice before booking for a month, though. I paid the full monthly rate, an extra 1 million for a second person, and a refundable 1 million deposit. I was fine with that, and the separate charges for water and electricity based on usage made sense to me. Even though I had booked for the whole month, I didn’t sleep there for nearly 20 days. I was still billed for water and electricity, and the amounts looked high compared with the previous month’s usage by other guests, especially since I wasn’t there. No one entered the room until the night before checkout, when they collected my remaining belongings. When I asked about the charges, I was told it was because I’d been away. That didn’t make sense to me, since weekly cleaning should be a guest’s right whether they’re in the room or not. That’s just what happened in my case. I still think it’s decent for a stay of a few days, but a monthly booking may need more thought. The internet connection in the upper rooms could also be improved.

For an innercity stay, I think this is the best value. The design is lovely, much better than most of the overpriced hotels in Jogja. It’s close to the station and the adi sutjipto airport. YIA isn’t worth the trip, and everybody knows it 🤝
