Omah Lumbung Yogyakarta

We were there for six nights for the Prambanan Jazz Festival, and the staff were helpful and friendly the whole time. The location worked well for Prambanan and other sights on Yogyakarta’s east side. It’s also nearer to Solo and about a 10-15-minute ride from Adisucipto Airport. Though it’s off the main road, Grab and Gojek can reach it easily. Rice fields still border the quiet surroundings, making morning walks refreshing. Breakfast had a good range of options, though the taste could be better. I’d suggest a room at the front, since children playing near the swimming pool can make the other rooms noisy. We had a good stay, thanks for hosting us.

There are plenty of rooms, and they’re pretty quiet. The pool works for a swim or just relaxing, and there’s a rooftop space to hang out. Service was nice. I just wish breakfast had more variety, hopefully they can add some options.

We stayed over the Christmas holidays in December 2022. The rice paddy scenery gave us a peaceful, picturesque view, and breakfast was a lovely all-you-can-eat buffet with good quality and variety. The rooms at Omah Lumbung Yogyakarta were clean, well kept, and comfortable. Staff were friendly, attentive, and ready to help. All of that made for a relaxing and very enjoyable stay.

From the first welcome, Omah Lumbung felt warm and homely. The traditional Javanese architecture and green surroundings make it a calm place to relax. Whether eating inside or outdoors, you get lovely views of the rice fields and distant mountains.
