It’s a quiet place, so it works well for anyone wanting to stay without disturbances. The homestay has traditional Javanese house vibes and a big room for family vacations. The amenities are decent, and it’s not too far from the city center or hard to get to.

I stayed at Sari Homestay in February 2013. It’s a cozy, nice place, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They can arrange an airport pickup once you book. You can hear the mosque at night, though.

The rooms and service were great. WiFi was the downside, unfortunately.
