The price was reasonable, the beds were okay for what I paid, and the area was fairly quiet. It's also not too far from the city centre. But a few things weren't made clear when I booked. WiFi only worked in the lobby, not in the rooms. The rooms have the shower in the toilet area, with no separate shower room. Staff didn't speak English, which by itself wouldn't usually be a problem, but communication was difficult and they didn't seem very attentive when we brought up several issues. You get what you pay for, but keep these problems in mind before checking in.

This wasn't a pleasant week. There was no WiFi for half the days, and my morning coffee took 20 minutes to arrive while staff were on their phones. There’s no lift, so carrying a big suitcase up or down is difficult. Mosquitos were having a feast, and bells on both entrance doors were annoying every time they opened or closed. Also, the place floods when it rains.

Bangreng Inn Hotel is cute and pretty, and the stay felt comfortable. There were a few spots on the towels and bed sheets, but for the price, service and quality, I was very satisfied. All the best.
