Saren Indah Hotel

The pool was a lovely way to cool down, and the large bottle of water with an electric pump in the room made refilling our own bottles easy. Ari and her staff made us feel welcome, and she was quick to reply whenever we emailed a question. We enjoyed the boutique hotel's traditional Bali decor, good-sized rooms, and peaceful, lush landscaping that felt removed from the city. The location was still close to the center, with lots of places to eat within walking distance. I'd definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a cute hotel that doesn't break the bank.

We had big, spotless rooms with a bathtub, tea, coffee, soaps, shampoo, and a large bottle of water, maybe 6ltr. From the balcony we could see paddy fields towards the monkey Forrest, and even spotted fireflies. It was so peaceful watching birds and local monkeys play. The hotel is gorgeous and away from central Ubud's bustle, with lovely local restaurants and shops nearby. Staff were attentive and lovely, breakfast was good, and there's a little on sites restaurant too. Excellent stay, and I hope we can come back one day. 🙏

I needed to be nearby for a course, and Saren Indah worked out really well for my five-night stay. Breakfast was great, with fresh fruit and juice every day, the local owner was kind, and the garden was superbly cared for. There were lotus flowers, different water lilies, hibiscus, and frangipanis everywhere, with rice fields all around. The rooms had everything I needed. Some people might call the place old, but I found the darker wood furniture and ceiling charming. It's quiet despite being centrally located, and monkeys sometimes play near the cafe area. I enjoyed watching them jump around. I'd come back if I needed to stay in the area again.

In nyuh kuning village, this place is close to central ubud but far enough away. We had monkeys visit too. Good rooms, good breakfast, and great staff. Love this place.
