Dipa Home Stay

What stood out most was the family running Dipa Home Stay. They took great care of us, adjusted to our needs, and made me feel at home, so I’m really grateful. Breakfast was healthy and homemade, served to our room in the morning. The rooms are spacious, surrounded by plants and greenery, and there’s a swimming pool too. We were out all day and didn’t use it, but it looked good. The location is excellent, right in the city centre but far enough from the busiest roads to feel quiet, while still being within walking distance of everything. I highly recommend the place and will definitely return.

I was traveling alone, and the whole family at Dipa made me feel at home. They looked after me and took an interest in how my days were going and what I needed. We had some good laughs :) The rooms are basic but very clean, and the garden and lovely swimming pool are quiet and comfortable, with beautiful plants. Breakfast is homemade, and I rented a motorbike from them too. What else can you ask for! I felt safe and comfy and would definitely come back. The location is nice as well, close to the main street but far enough away from the traffic and crowds.

It feels homely and stays quiet even though it’s on the main road. Shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. Highly recommend for a central Ubud stay.

Dipa Guest House is in a really good central Ubud location, and the staff are quite nice. Still, I didn’t enjoy my stay. My room was very dirty and smelled musty and moldy, so I couldn’t put clothes in the furniture without them smelling too. There were no towels, and the bedsheets were clearly unclean, with stains, hair, and the smell of other bodies. I’m quite sure other people had slept in them and they hadn’t been washed. The wooden bed head also had a strong smell of greasy hair.
