We had a three-night stay here, surrounded by quiet, natural scenery away from the center. The villa’s free ride into Ubud center made the 10-15 minute drive much easier, and Made was a really nice driver. The private pool was great, and breakfast was delivered so we could eat beside it. Our room was spacious and comfortable, though cleanliness could be better. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We’d definitely recommend the place and would come back.

The owners are such kind people and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. My husband and I loved our four-night honeymoon here. The villa and pool were clean and well cared for, and the service was amazing. We’re both vegan, and while the breakfast isn’t vegan, they brought each of us a good-sized fruit bowl every morning. We’ll stay here again.

We spent seven nights in a villa overlooking the jungle, and it was a great experience. The building had been renovated, the pool was lovely, and everything was very clean. The staff were friendly, and there are some nice restaurants nearby. We did find a few insects inside, but, well, it’s Bali. The towels could be better. Still, we had a great stay.

We felt at home even though we were so far from home, thanks to the caring front desk team and Made, the driver, who was one of the sweetest people we’ve met. Mekar Sari Villas are beautiful, the food was spectacular, and the service exceeded what we expected. It’s also close to everything Ubud has to offer. My girlfriend and I had such a memorable, romantic stay that I wanted to write this before we’d even left. Thank you so much. We’ll definitely be back. Chris & Jill (United States)
