Dijumahrai Homestay

I’d only stay one night here. It’s cheap accommodation, so I didn’t expect it to be amazing, but we’ve had better service at other budget homestays. We’re not high maintenance and don’t usually leave low reviews, but after staying in 18 places on our travels, this was definitely the strangest. Check-in was confusing and nobody greeted us. The bathroom was dirty, with hair in the drain, and there was some kind of goop on the bedroom floor. We found ants in the bed, holes in the bathroom walls, and a big gap under the front door where insects could get in. We also saw mice around the grounds and worried one might enter our room. The room itself was pretty, the bed was comfortable, the grounds were stunning, and the location was great. But at checkout we were overcharged until we showed our booking. We got only half a roll of toilet paper for four days and had to find more ourselves. The towels weren’t changed during those four days, and there was no soap or other bathroom products.

A decent room for one night, with AC, good Wi-Fi, and a convenient location.

A quiet spot right in the middle of everything, with a superb breakfast brought to your door when you open your room. The host also offers coffee, tee, fruit, and sweets during the day. There’s no AC, but the room has two fans, thank you! One thing they could add is water for refilling, which would save on waste.

The rooms were noisy, with sounds of footsteps overhead and water outside.
