The rice fields around the villa were my favorite part. I was in awe when we arrived, and kept feeling that way throughout our three days. Having the place to ourselves felt magical, just like the Bali stay I’d imagined. It was a beautiful place to be. Thank you for having me.

The quiet setting among the rice fields made for a really nice stay at Jati Villa. There are two separate rooms, with a private pool between them. You can rent a motorbike for 50000 IDR to get around Ubud. Thanks to Made and Gede for their hospitality. To find the villa, follow the Merta sign.

The private pool is beautiful, and having an outdoor kitchen and living area made the place feel cozy. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re traveling to Ubud.
