Gangga House

For the price, this is a good deal. You get your own room or house, which makes it better than a hostel, and the service is friendly and helpful whenever something comes up. A solid four.

I checked in late, but they welcomed me warmly. My room was clean and had air conditioning. There’s a lovely garden view, and I enjoyed waking up to the birds. Local Indonesian cafes and coffee are just a minute’s walk around the corner. Thank you!

The hosts were friendly, the room had air conditioning, and they cleaned it every day. Mine was at the back, so it stayed quiet and I slept well. Breakfast came each morning, and the dragon fruit was the best I’ve ever had. There’s plenty of inexpensive food within a 5-15 minute walk. For the price, it was okay, though the rooms are worn and the pillows and blankets really need replacing. My main complaint is that guests weren’t warned before the property was debugged. I could smell the fumes coming into my room, so I ran out to the street and had to breathe them on the way. Please give guests a warning next time.

I wanted to extend my stay because I loved it here, but they were fully booked. The room was cleaned daily and breakfast was delicious. Location, price, quality, and service were all five stars for me. It’s an easy walk to The Yoga Barn, shopping, monkey forest, and some of the best cafés around. I can’t wait to return.
