There’s a shared kitchen with a fridge, and the location is super convenient, quiet enough, and within easy reach. The place is clean enough, and the price feels fair for what you get, though it’s an old property. The pool wasn’t as clear as it looked in the photos. There was construction in the neighboring building while I stayed.

The host was great, and the pool looked nice, though I didn’t use it. The room is spacious, but the water pressure is weak and there’s no AC. I spotted a little gecko on my bed sheet. For the price, it’s fine, I wasn’t expecting much. I’d give it two stars, but it cost less than my manicure.

The pool is naturally shaded and has a shower, and the location is great, quiet, and easy for getting to most places. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I also loved having a 20 litre water dispenser in each room. In a hot place where you drink heaps of water, that means no plastic waste.

The family who owns Manggis Sari are lovely and welcoming. This was my third stay with them, and every time has been phenomenal. They make me feel at home and are so helpful. For 250 inc breakfast, we got a clean room and bathroom, plus a balcony with a nice view. They’re building a pool at the moment, and work starts around 9am. It will be finished on November 18.
