The room and shared toilets were clean, the hot shower worked, and there was a common area with tables and chairs. Wi-Fi was good too, and the location is close to tsm. But I barely slept, so I checked out the next morning even though I’d booked two nights. A group checked in around midnight and stayed noisy past 2 a.m., then there was more noise from 5 to 7 a.m. My room was near the smoking area on the second-floor porch, where about four or five people were smoking just outside. There was no window, so ventilation was poor. I’d booked a single room with a fan, but it turned out to be a wall exhaust fan. It was connected to the room light, so switching the light off also switched the fan off. I should’ve booked a double room with air conditioning for better comfort.

The room was clean, and the temperature was already cool, so there was no air conditioner. Drinking water and hot water were available from the dispenser outside the room, and the shower had hot water too. The bathroom floor stayed wet because there was no exhaust fan. One other thing, the toilet flush was very weak.

The room and bathroom were both so small that washing my face was difficult, and showering was even harder. For the price, it didn’t feel worth it. The TV channels were bad, there was no Wi-Fi, and I had to ask for another towel because the room only had one. Worst of all, a cockroach came out of the bathroom. It was disgusting.

The staff were very helpful. I arrived early in the morning and left the next day at night, and they let me leave my luggage and some things there. The hostel is near Kiara Condong train station. My room had no window, just glass without a curtain, so I didn’t feel comfortable changing clothes there. The room was too small, and there were only two shared bathrooms, with soap as the only provision. The bed linen had marks that looked like dirt, though staff said it was from the laundry steam. I also saw a spider web on the ceiling. The door didn’t fit its frame properly, leaving a gap even when it was shut and locked.
