I came here looking for somewhere to stay on short notice and ended up at Topaz Tower. Though the apartment is next to the Pasteur Toll Road, getting there means dealing with heavy traffic. The pool is clean, but the units feel quite old. There's little commercial space, and finding the main lobby at Informa is confusing. To get out of Topas Tower, you need to walk over to the Garcia elevator and take it to floor 3A.

The building is pretty standard, though the basement feels a bit scary, especially with such a strong security guard around. The day shift guard at Topaz B2, who looked like an Easterner, was unfriendly. They should review the guard training and outsourcing process.

The room was a shock, well below what I expected. The bed smelled musty, the sheets and pillows were dirty, the AC didn't work, and the balcony door was open in the middle of the night. The TV was only for show, and the antenna was creaky. At least the water heater worked properly. I checked in at night while it was raining, and the place felt a little scary. There was no security at Topaz tower. Then I couldn't get the elevator to go to the 5th floor. I could only reach 3A, even though the screen oddly showed floor 5 🤔.

The room at Topas B2 was lovely and aesthetic, and with two bedrooms it was good value for all seven of us. Everything was clean, including the bathroom, and we could relax with Netflix. This was my first time in Bandung, and the service was so cool. When we were heading home, I realized I'd left my blazer hanging in the closet and we only had an hour before departure. I panicked and got the contact from my friend who'd arranged everything. Thank God it was still there, and Mr. Wahyu replied on WA really fast. THANK YOU Mr. Wahyu & TOPAS B2.
