If you’re on a tight budget and only need somewhere to nap or sleep, this place could work. It’s very affordable, and you can read or sleep inside the capsule. The temperature in the room was neither hot nor cold. You’ll be sharing the room with other people, and someone is always there to assist, so you won’t be on your own. If you go out, you have to call the assistant to come pick you up when you return. There are several “capsules” in one apartment unit on the 21st floor, and the bathroom is small, as is everything else. Privacy is limited. It’s close to Ciwalk. If you’re taking the big bird shuttle between Jakarta and Bandung, either way, the location may suit you.

We waited an hour to meet the house keeper, only to be told the room was full. The service was very bad, and I wouldn’t recommend this place. We had to find another hotel.

I had an unexpected place to sleep during a self-funded business trip, and for an overnight stop this was enough for me. I sleep easily even with noise, and at night there weren’t many people coming and going for food and other things. My single room came with a mini fan, light, outlet, pillow, and blanket. At about 110 cm, it was enough space for someone slim like me. If you’re bulkier or tend to move around a lot in your sleep, a double room might suit you better. There’s a locker for belongings and a key to enter and leave the room. The room isn’t soundproof, though, so you can hear conversations from other rooms and voices in the hallway. Finding the place is difficult. It’s inside an apartment, and you have to get past a guard to enter. Getting to the dining area is awkward too. There’s a stone-stair shortcut to the zoo, but it seems rarely used and has no lights. The street was busy when the apartment was first built in 2013, though Gojek and Grab drivers can get there quickly since lots of people hang out in front. There’s enough space for one night. The bathroom is tiny, with little room to move, but drinks, hot water, coffee, and snacks are available. To leave the apartment you still need to call the guard, since the elevator needs a card and only the guard has one.
