If you want a glimpse of old Bandung, this place is perfect. It's an old house turned into a budget hotel, so don't expect too much. The round Art Deco terrace and centuries-old walls have a humble feel that made me fall in love with the old souls tied to this place. Please, owner, never sell the house or change how it looks. For four rooms we paid 900K through an online reservation, which was a great price. The hotel has a good location and spacious rooms, with hot water, AC, and a smart TV to help you unwind. There's a nearby convenience store and street food if you don't want to walk far, and several angkot routes can take you around the city. I can't say it's the best place to crash after a tiring day in Bandung, but it has a lot of useful basics. What else do you need?

The location was great, the cafe food was excellent and fairly cheap, and the staff were friendly and quick to respond. Try the chicken steak, spaghetti bolognese, and strawberry juice, superb! The hot water had a strong stream, and the smart TV had enough channels. I didn't mind the old building or furniture, but the room's cleanliness really disappointed me. The floor was dirty, the sheets looked dingy and felt rough on my skin, and the RedDoorz pillow smelled. The room and bathroom had a funky odor like my uncle's house the day after it flooded. It got better after I wiped the floor with Dettol and soap and scrubbed the bathroom with soap and hot water, but I couldn't get rid of it completely. The Wi-Fi didn't work, and neither did the air conditioner. After one night the room got hot and humid. If they swept and mopped before guests arrived and scrubbed the bathroom hard with bleach and Harpic, I'm sure the experience would improve a lot.

I found the menu at Foodpedia jalan WR. Supratman No. 37 Bandung, inside Sanira Hotel, pretty extensive and inexpensive. The food tasted about right for the price, and the restaurant was quite empty.
