Cozy 2BR Apartment at Tamansari Tera Residence near BIP

The apartment costs as much as a 4 or 5 star hotel in Bandung, but it isn’t worth even 2 stars. The place was in bad condition and unclean, the wifi was VERY slow, and the air conditioning was dirty and didn’t cool properly. There’s a train track 50 meters away, and the noise made sleeping impossible. Trains pass around the clock and honk twice, 10 second intervals. There’s only one room card, and since it’s needed for the elevator, my wife and I couldn’t leave the 12th floor separately. They charge 200.000idr for a lost card, though ours was already broken. The Agoda ad promised things that weren’t there, including a golf course, exclusive lounge, cleaning products, and a workdesk. Electricity also costs extra, which wasn’t mentioned in the ad. When I complained, they didn’t care. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

We rented a studio apartment for a day. It was a huge, clean, comfortable room with a refrigerator, induction stove, kitchen utensils, water dispenser, large TV, and a proper balcony. The train noise annoyed me, though.

The staff were very helpful, and everything felt comfortable and spacious. The linens and towels smelled good and were very clean. I’ll definitely come back if my big family visits bandung again.

The guy is solid. I rented from him twice and had no problems, and the motorbikes were in very good condition. Unfortunately, he keeps your passport during the rental period.
