Ascarya Ubud

Ascarya felt like a small retreat of just six villas tucked among the rice terraces, away from the noise and chaos. That intimate atmosphere made our several days there during our Ubud holiday feel special, and it was probably one of the best hotels of our whole trip. It’s a newly established hotel. The staff brought so much care and attention to each day, always with a smile. Made deserves a special thank you for being kind, attentive, and upbeat at breakfast and lunch, and for making the best juices. The chefs also deserve credit: I had the best spring rolls and dim sum of my life. The receptionists and everyone else were warm and professional too. Staying at Ascarya was a real pleasure, and we’ll definitely be back.

Head waiter Made deserves a special mention for his wonderful cocktails and fresh juices, some of the best I’ve had in Bali. The restaurant had lots of delicious choices, and every meal seemed thoughtfully made and full of flavour. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always ready to help. The whole place is a charming, peaceful escape among rice fields and gentle streams, far from the rush of everyday life. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay, comfort, and lovely hospitality.

We spent four unforgettable nights at ASCARYA UBUD. Our villa was roomy and beautifully decorated, blending modern comforts with traditional Balinese touches, right in the middle of rice fields. The king bed was very comfortable, and the well-kept private pool was the perfect place to relax. The whole team was caring, friendly, and attentive, especially “MAADEE & INTAN”. MAADEE made our Valentine’s Day feel extra special. Highly recommend!

The approach road to the villa feels secluded and private, which adds to the peaceful atmosphere. Ascarya Ubud is surrounded by lovely rice fields, fresh air, and calm. It’s a great choice if you want to relax away from busy Ubud. The staff are kind and friendly. I highly recommend this villa.
