The room was a little dusty, and since it was in the basement, the air circulation was poor. It wasn’t an AC room, and the broken window button raised a security concern. The water also smelled slightly and looked dirty. Before check-in, the receptionist asked for an extra Rp60.000,00, explaining that the rate in the traveloka application was wrong because of a data error. He also requested a refundable Rp100.000 deposit to be returned after check-out. Even so, I think it was worth the price paid.

A very affordable option for travellers on a budget, and highly recommended. The room was clean, the bed comfortable with clean sheets, and the AC worked great, getting very cold. There were cabled TV channels, plus hot drinking water in the corridor for cup noodles or hot drinks. The shared bathrooms were well maintained and clean, with hot showers readily available.

You can pick up basic things right away at the Alfamart downstairs. The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly, and for the price it’s good value. A solid option for backpackers.

I really liked staying at D'RIVER Guest House. It’s comfortable and beautiful, and finding it was easy since it’s right on the main street. Thanks, D'RIVER Guest house. I hope I get to come back someday.

The staff were helpful, and breakfast was pretty good. The shower had a strong flow and the hot water worked well. It’s a shared bathroom, and although the room has no AC, Bandung’s cool weather meant I didn’t need it. Clean and comfortable.
