G10 Guest House

We planned on two nights at G10, then stayed for four. The rooftop, partly open and partly sheltered from rain, was a great place to meet people, and the two guided outings with Verga and his friend were really enjoyable. The staff made us feel like we were visiting old friends. G10 may be one of the best guesthouses we've stayed in on all our travels, and we'd definitely choose it again if we return to Bandung.

The terrace was peaceful, with a big sofa where I could relax at the end of the day. There was free coffee, tea and instant noodles in the kitchen. Inge, the owner, was happy to help with everything, even planning the next legs of my trip in Java. I also took a tour around Ciwidey with Verga and Devi. The weather wasn't on our side, but it was still worth it, and the tour taught me a lot about Javanese culture. A really nice family guesthouse in Bandung 🤩

The guesthouse is central and good value, with complimentary tea, coffee and water, plus a nice rooftop spot to relax. Inga was a welcoming host. Our first room's A/C wasn't working, so they moved us to another one with stronger A/C and a hot water shower. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable and the wifi decent. P.S. Take the South Bandung day tour with Chandra and Budi. They're a riot.

The South of Bandung tour Inge organized for us was amazing and so well planned. She also gave us helpful advice for the rest of our Java trip, and even took our laundry to the laundromat. The rooms were clean, and upstairs there’s a large hangout area with a kitchen, free coffee and tea, and a rooftop terrace. Inge and her husband were lovely hosts who made us feel welcome. We had the best time, and I’d happily return to this homestay.
