Grand Guci Hotel

Kartika Sari is close enough to walk to, which is handy if you're after some last-minute "oleh2". The staff were really friendly, and there was enough parking. Breakfast was fairly standard, though there was a decent variety. Our Deluxe room was on the small side but still cozy. We had trouble with the key card, so they gave us an old-fashioned key instead. The walls are thin, and we heard people and kids running around early in the morning.

The price was affordable, and the hotel sits in a central, convenient area. Breakfast had plenty of tasty options. There’s a cafe, pool, and elevator, and the place was comfortable with most facilities covered. The parking area is a little small.

We arrived at noon and asked about checking in early. I could see a lot of messy rooms that hadn't been cleaned, and we ended up waiting until 2 pm. Even then, they gave us just one of the two rooms we had booked, and we waited another hour for the second. We had to keep asking for updates. The bathroom water ran into the room, the lighting was too dim for us, and there isn't a restaurant, so don't expect breakfast there.

The design appealed to me, and the hotel was clean enough, with okay facilities and a low price. Room sizes weren't consistent, though. I got a spacious one while my friend had a really cramped room, despite us paying the same amount.
