For a reasonable price, you get a spacious, air-conditioned room, plus a pool and internet. It’s an ideal place, though it isn’t luxurious.

The huts feel like authentic bungalows, with nature audible through the “walls.” People at the resort kept things quiet, so sleeping was no problem. The beach is right nearby, making this a perfect spot for sunsets. The staff were wonderful to us, and we had an amazing stay.

We were meant to stay for a week, but they canceled our booking, made in April, just one week before we were due to arrive in August. They gave no explanation and demanded that we cancel so they wouldn’t be called out by Booking. We couldn’t reach them at all, by any means.

We loved it so much that our family of two adults and two kids extended our original week by another 10 days. The bungalows aren’t luxurious, but they’re reasonably clean and comfortable. There’s a garden bar, a gazebo with a fan, and a pool with some floatables for the kids. The Ardi Beltza team was always around when we wanted coffee, a drink or an early breakfast. It’s close to the beach and good warungs. With a bike, everything on Gili is close, including Play Cafe for kids and The Elf.
