Hotel Kembang Cihamplas Bandung

The building may be old, but the facilities and service should still be adequate. The Wi-Fi in room 314, at the end of the corridor, was slow and kept cutting out. The bathroom hot water never came on, even after I left it running for a long time. The staff service was poor too. I reported early at 11 AM that I'd requested a room with a bridge view, but nobody even mentioned it. This is the first time a hotel review has described such a bad experience for me. There needs to be better coordination between morning and afternoon staff, so requests don't get lost. It's ridiculous. The morning staff member's name is STEVEN! Management, please read this. Without improvements, you'll lose out to nearby hotels like Vio, Westin, and De Batara.

The room was mostly good and looked clean, with wide windows and a view of flyover Pasupati. The glass bathroom was spacious too. Some shower holes sprayed all over, so my hair got wet, but having a hair dryer helped. The bidet spray was very strong, really piercing, and there were stains on the bed and floor. This was room 415. Staff were friendly and helpful: they even got the TV working when its remote didn't, and refilled my drinking water. The lobby has lots of tables and chairs, handy for waiting for a taxi or pickup and getting a little work done. Ciwalk is also close enough to walk to. Nice here :)
