We stayed in one of the poolside bungalows, nicely built in a simple rustic style. A fan and a small fridge would have been useful in the room. Aside from that, it's a lovely hotel and I'd recommend it.

I had a nice stay at Kampung Lumbung. The breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were good, with a clean pool and a nice view. For the price, I think this hotel is a hidden gem in Batu.

A hidden gem, with a blend of colonial and Javanese architecture. There's art and heritage throughout, plus plenty of fruit and vegetable gardens.

Breakfast was great, and the grounds offer a lovely landscape for exercise. It's an eco-hotel with unique, spacious cottages and rooms, plus a wide variety of plants, including berries. Fish, chickens, and cats are easy to spot. I only wish the water heater worked better.

Two nights didn't feel like enough time to take in all the beauty here. The hotel grounds were my favorite. After breakfast we walked around, with birds chirping along beside us. It felt incredibly serene and calming. I'd recommend it for some peaceful time with loved ones, or even on your own.
