From the top floor, where I stayed, I had a lovely view over the city. The apartment was very comfortable and had complete facilities. It’s in central Bandung, close to Cihampelas, the city’s longest commercial street. I’d recommend it.

I was disappointed with my stay. The apartment is neglected, dirty, damp, and the building is run down. The refrigerator smells, the bathroom is dirty, and the sheets are covered in stains, including blood stains on some. The lights flicker and are dim.

The Jarrdin apartment has two swimming pools for each of its four towers, plus a mini-mart, laundry, snacks, and a place for home-cooked food. Residents range from schoolchildren and working professionals to businesspeople and retirees. Units can be rented daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly to suit different needs. There are many rental providers, and selected units can also be found on property websites. It’s next to Cihampelas Walk (Ciwalk), about a 10-minute walk away, with shops along Jl. Cihampelas too.

I booked a particular room through the booking app, but was given a different one when I arrived. I asked to cancel because it wasn’t the room I had reserved. A Green Homestay employee said the cancellation had to be requested through the app and approved by Green Homestay, but then Green Homestay never responded. They wouldn’t take responsibility.
