Hotel Talagasari

The dining was enjoyable again, with tasty food and attentive service, though a wider menu would make it even better. A few rooms also have air conditioning that doesn't cool as well as expected, so that could use adjustment. This was my second stay at Grand Mercure Bandung Setiabudi, and it felt just as warm and memorable as the first. The surroundings are peaceful and beautifully maintained, a relaxing setting for guests of any age. From arrival, the team welcomed us warmly and handled the details thoughtfully, making the stay comfortable and easy. As an Accor Plus Member, I appreciated the personal touches and privileges, which add real value. Ms. Wulan deserves special thanks again for her kindness, attention, and readiness to help with even the smallest things. Her warmth leaves a lasting impression and is a big reason returning feels rewarding.

The heated pool is the real highlight, lovely for a morning swim, and the rooftop bar is a nice spot in the evening. Staff were friendly, the room was large with a nice view, and breakfast was ample, as you'd expect at a typical four-star hotel. The bed felt a bit too stiff, though. The hotel is a little outside kota Bandung, toward kota Lembang, but still not far from the city. The shower was a disaster, either burning hot or too cool.

We got an upgraded room thanks to my Platinum status in Accor ALL, even during peak holiday season, and the staff were really accommodating. The room was very clean. The pool is quite large and good for fun with the kids, and breakfast had lots of variety and was very good.

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were large and clean, and the staff were attentive and courteous. I appreciated the Welcome Drink voucher, even though it only covered selected non-alcoholic drinks. There aren't food outlets or restaurants outside the hotel, so booking breakfast makes sense. I ordered room service instead because buffet breakfast is usually too heavy for me. On the last day I tried the buffet and got a 10% discount as an ALL member. Nice to get those ALL benefits. :)
