Ibis Bandung Pasteur

Vonny at the front office gave excellent service. The room was clean and comfortable, and decent for the budget price. My only complaint was that the capsule bathroom felt rather humid. Everything else was nice.

The food was basic, with few options for westerners. My Aussie mate found it a bit disappointing, especially since the hotel is part of an int’l chain, and I think they should take that into consideration. Getting around was easy, with the mall, restaurants, and shops accessible. The staff tried their best, but service for non-local visitors could be more guest oriented. I've stayed at the same hotel in other cities, where things went beyond my expectations, unlike here. I was lucky to get the quiet mountains overlooking room I requested. I'd avoid one facing the main road, iykyk 😁 There was a stain on my bedsheet too (see pict), so I hope they fix that. I was also surprised to find the fridge/chiller unplugged when we checked in. I noticed after pulling it out of its compartment, and wasn't sure if that was some kind of safety procedure. Bandung is best in low season. Avoid long weekends, religious holidays, and festivals, when local tourists come down and it gets so packed that you won't enjoy your Bandung gateway in traffic.

The room was small but thoughtfully designed, with a comfortable bed, and everything in it worked well. It was clean and tidy, the staff were very friendly, and the location was great. The buffet food tasted good too. Recommended for a staycation 😍

The hotel has good facilities, a tasty breakfast, and comfortable rooms. I also enjoyed the activities and events, especially the flower arrangement workshop, which made the stay feel more memorable and unique. Its strategic location in bandung is another big plus.
