Moxy Bandung

The location and service were good, and everybody was nice and attentive. The hotel manager also handled an issue very promptly and effectively. The room was a bit small but clean, the Wi-Fi was slow, and breakfast could have had fresher items. Given the room size, I think the price could be lower.

The rooftop has a great view, and the hotel is handy for the mall and nearby restaurants. The staff were really friendly, especially Ushi, and the pool table and photo booth were fun extras. It feels trendy and good value, though breakfast was basic. We could hear hallway and road noise, so the rooms could use better sound insulation.

We found the Skybar food good and fairly priced, and the hotel is near the Sultan Agung and Jln Trunojoyo shopping areas. Persib Bandung fans will also like that the club house is about a five-minute walk away. Our room wasn't ready even after 4pm, but Duty Manager Gary and the Reception team apologized and looked after us well. They offered complimentary pizza or snacks while we waited, which we politely declined in favor of a cold drink. They handled the delay quickly and deserve credit for the service recovery.

We had dinner at the rooftop bar and restaurant on two nights, and the view was lovely, though all the smoking there made those meals less enjoyable. The children liked the play amenities, and we found food and a supermarket within walking distance. Rooms and food were reasonably priced. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The walls are thin: we clearly heard our neighbor's fairly loud conversations on consecutive nights. Also, the translucent bathroom panels in family rooms weren't to our taste. It was a good stay for the price, as expected.
