Oakwood Merdeka Bandung

Oakwood is a place I always enjoy spending time at, and the rooftop pool and cafe are nice. They also provide a water refill station as part of their effort to be environmentally friendly. Still, for a four or five star hotel, the room privacy could be better. I could hear people in the next room and in the hallway, so the rooms aren’t soundproof enough.

Rania deserves a special thanks for helping us and following up on our feedback during the stay. The staff were all friendly, helpful, and quick to respond, and the service was excellent. The location is very convenient for trendy cafés and food spots, including popular salt bread places and other modern restaurants. Breakfast was good overall, though the taste could be improved. We had a very pleasant stay and would consider coming back.

The room was clean and lovely, which made our stay comfortable and happy. I’d mentioned it was my parents’ anniversary, and they surprised us with a welcome cake and decorations in their room. Check-in and check-out both went smoothly, and the whole team were so friendly and helpful. Oakwood Merdeka Bandung is in a safe area, close to the city’s main tourist attractions. Thanks to the team for such a nice first stay. I’d love to return on another trip with family or friends. Great job, and I hope you all have a lovely day too!

The room is spacious and the bed comfortable, and the location, service, and general comfort were all fine. I’d have given five stars, but the toilet either has no exhaust fan or one that’s too slow. The bathroom smell doesn’t clear and ends up getting into the bedroom. Also, be careful with the basement parking entrance, it’s so narrow that parking inside takes a skilled driver.
