Pretty good.

It was good.

A fairly quiet place.

The room was the worst part of the stay. The sheets felt greasy and damp, the toilet looked untouched, and wiping the table and other surfaces left the tissue dark with dirt. We asked for clean sheets and supplies so we could tidy up ourselves, but staff said housekeeping was closed and refused. That was odd, since the receptionist was cleaning a different room at the time. We had booked two nights for a nearby friend's wedding during high season, so we felt we had little choice but to stay. At check-in, we saw three or four other guests leaving early and complaining about dirty rooms. I'd ignored the bad Google reviews, thinking those guests might simply have had bad luck, but our experience matched what they described. We asked for a refund for the second night because we hadn't stayed in it and had only inspected the room. The receptionist said we hadn't properly checked in, but still wouldn't allow a refund. Cleanliness is a basic requirement, and this place failed badly. I can give it only one star and wouldn't recommend staying here.
