Shakti Hotel Bandung

The staff were friendly and welcoming, but breakfast fell short of what I've had at similar hotels. The whole property could use some attention. The rooms are extremely small, and you notice the poor upkeep as soon as you walk in. Even the desk lamps give off harsh white light, which makes the place feel clinical. It needs a refresh to get up to standard.

I liked the swimming pool and gym, and the menu was good. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout my stay at Shakti Hotel Bandung. Cleanliness was the letdown. The rooms weren't as clean as I'd hoped, especially the bathrooms, where I found stains, soap scum, dust, and rust. Those surfaces weren't spotless, which made the stay less comfortable. The facilities offer good value, but housekeeping needs to improve to meet guest expectations.

Very poor hotel quality. The room was very hot and smelled bad, and the air from the AC didn't feel clean. Brown water came out of the shower, and there were worms in it.

My Agoda account was hacked, and several hotel reservations were made at once. The other hotels agreed to refund me, but Shakti refused. They claimed someone had checked in under my name, and I don't know how that could be. I can't tell whether the hotel was lying or had sold my room to someone else. When I called, they hung up on me in the middle of the conversation. I've reported this to the police, and they will investigate. Shame on you, Shakti Hotel!
