The cimplung didn’t do much for me, so I wouldn’t suggest ordering it. I’d definitely try the ayam with “raja” in its name, though. It’s fried chicken dipped in egg before frying, and it pleasantly surprised me. The restaurant’s Sundanese food is comforting overall, and I enjoyed eating here.

We were glad we picked this restaurant for a late lunch. The prices were reasonable, and the staff were attentive and polite. The food was delicious, and we got a lovely view of rice paddies that were nearly ripe, with a cool breeze coming through.

I’ve been eating here since I was a teenager, and kept coming back after I had children. The food has always been delicious, and it’s an experience I remember fondly.

The food was all delicious, with none of the dishes disappointing. It’s a clean, bright, modern restaurant with traditional touches, and you can dine while looking out over rice fields. A nice place to unwind in the cool weather near ciwidey.

I’d expect sambal and lalap to come as standard at a Sundanese restaurant. Here, though, you have to pay extra for them.
