The room had a strong smell, and I don't know what it was. That alone made it uncomfortable. The place is in a typical village residential area, with rooms set up for boarding or daily stays. From the front it looked neglected and quiet, like nobody was around. Facilities were very limited: the water wouldn't turn on, so we had to go to the nearby mosque, and the water tank was filthy and hadn't been cleaned. One strange thing happened while I went out looking for food. The door had been locked and there wasn't any hole in it, but when I came back, the basket that had tofu in it had fallen over and several pieces were gone. I don't know if someone hungry got in or if there was a cat monster, hehe.

I arrived to find every room booked, and the ones still available were below standard. There wasn't any water either, so I was left confused about what to do. I ended up calling the OYO office myself to cancel, but the owner never explained how I should handle it.
