The cigarette smell was what made the room so hard to stay in. I’d specifically requested a non-smoking room, and that had been confirmed, but smoke filled it during the night and I couldn’t rest comfortably. When I told the staff, they acknowledged smoking indoors wasn’t allowed but didn’t do anything to address it. They said other guests might be smoking and told me to “deal with it.” That felt dismissive and unprofessional. I understand this is a budget inn, but basic comfort, cleanliness, and support still matter. I would’ve paid a little more for a place that followed its policies and treated guests with more care. It looked cost-effective, but the lack of comfort and service made the savings not worth it. I’d suggest looking at other options.

The price is budget friendly, though I wouldn’t expect much beyond the basics. It’s in a good, fairly central spot in Bandung, inside Hyper Paskal. The room is small but fine for sleeping, and breakfast is simple, like toast with jam or Pop Mie.

The deposit setup felt odd, and after reception had already checked my ID at check-in, they asked for it again the next morning. The rooms are tiny too, to the point that we had to use the mattress to open a cabin bag. Breakfast is just sachet coffee or tea, toast, or cup noodles. With all that in mind, I’m not sure the price is especially low. It’s a no-frills hotel.

The room worked well for us: there’s a king bed for two and a sofa that converts to a bed for one, plus Wi-Fi and cable TV. It’s listed as a Family Room on Agoda, and I paid IDR 504.000 on 3 Jan 2022. The 15m² apartment room is doubled to 30m². Getting in is a little tricky because there’s a lot of security, including a tap card and a password.

There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the hotel is very close to a shopping mall. My room was basic and a bit small, but clean, with pretty good Wi-Fi. I’d recommend it for a solo business traveller.
