The location is strategic, but getting service was difficult. No one picked up the number listed in the app or the reception number posted by the house. It’d be better to have one working number that guests can reach through the apps for confirmation and other questions. One staff member was helpful, so an extra star for them. Thanks.

The room itself was clean and nicely minimal, with Wi-Fi, a TV, towels, toiletries, and hot and cold water in the bathroom. I’d booked well ahead, and when I arrived with my ID, I was given a key to a second-floor room without having chosen a room number. The bathroom lock was broken, and the electricity kept cutting out. I told the owner the meter couldn’t be turned up, but got no response. It was already morning, so I managed by leaving the door open, since it was very hot without the AC. The electricity meter issue was the main disappointment.

We came from out of town last year while I was accompanying my brother for his CPNS exam. The rooms were clean and nice, the AC worked well, and the facilities were complete and well stocked. It was quiet enough that it felt like a family staycation while we rested. The staff were good, but getting checked in was unpleasant: we knocked and called for the innkeeper, and nobody answered. The owner was in the living room and seemed to ignore us. After about half an hour, he called a staff member to show us the room and hand over the key. We were exhausted and didn’t have the energy to complain. We just relaxed and watched BTS and Jungkook performing on YouTube, which made us laugh about it later. Hopefully the service improves. I’d still recommend this place to friends needing accommodation in Yogyakarta. Thank you.
